Ok it took me a little longer to resume than I planned, but those are the holidays for you. As always, there are way too many great images to chose from each day. Here are a few I really liked for different reasons.

I don't quite know why the audience is filled with pigs, but that is what I love about this.

I am a little late getting this out today, but it is still Christmas for an hour and a half here. Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates it. Thank you for sending in so many great holiday themed images to Snapzilla over the past few weeks (including the beautiful image above from pallina60 Loon).

Sapphire Weatherwax has put together a beautiful album of winter themed images from a variety of locations, perfect for the holidays.

Another new way to share Snapzilla images has been added. You can now easily send an image to Plurk, with a shortened bit.ly link and an image that can be viewed directly in Plurk (with thumbnail). You can customize the message before sending. Along with Plurk, you can directly share on Facebook, Flickr, Twitter and Posterous, giving you a variety of options to share your images with friends.

Due to my schedule and the work I am currently doing on Snapzilla, I have been unable to post regular Interesting Shots entries the past few days. They will resume soon, hopefully by this weekend.

You can now directly report any objectionable images for review by using the Report Image option on the image detail page (the icon is shown below). You must be signed in to report images – your avatar name and email address are included. All image reports are kept confidential. Thank you for your continued assistance with keeping abusive images off of Snapzilla.

You can now sign into your Snapzilla account either using your email address or your avatar name. If you use your avatar name, it must match exactly, including case. If you experience any issues, please let me know via support@sluniverse.com .

The Snapzilla Terms of Use have been updated to address the issue of suggestive images being submitted of child avatars. I have no tolerance for this and images will be deleted without warning. Repeated abuse will result in banning. The following line has been added to the General Terms:

You will not submit any sexually suggestive or otherwise inappropriate images of child avatars.

It was a year ago this week that long time SL resident and my dear friend Kendra Bancroft passed away suddenly. Retro Reanimator shared this image he received of hers randomly from 2005 , and it made me laugh and cry at the same time. She was a one of a kind, and is terribly missed.
