Starting at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT, Snapzilla will be unavailable while the site is being transferred to a new server. You can continue to send pictures to pics@slpics.com – they will be processed once the site is live on the new server. The site will be back up asap on Tuesday, 2/9. Some images may be unavailable temporarily while the files are being transferred.

Carthalis Rossini has created a small but incredible album of images with a Cuban theme. The images are lush, romantic and passionate, like so much of Carthalis' work. I hope there will be more images added, but if not, it is still a fantastic album.

Sorry for the late update on this, but the premium editing features in the Picnik image editor (which Snapzilla uses) are available today for free for one day, ending tomorrow morning at 9 am. If you would like to try out what the premium features are like, this is a good time to do so. Details are available here:

Sapphire Weatherwax has put together a fantastic album of images taken in the Solace Beach Estate sims. Sapphire has only been a Snapzilla member for a few months and has already become one of my favorites.

Alexandra Wilder has created a fantastic Snapzilla Group highlighting incredible places to see in Second Life. The images are definitely not to be missed if you like to explore. Send your own amazing place images to amazingplaces@slpics.com to add them to the group, or you can add existing pictures to the group by joining it first here.

The Snapzilla upload page has been changed to simplify uploading and fix compatibility issues with some web browsers. The functionality is still the same – you can upload multiple images, specify title, description, tags and SLURL for each one, and also put the uploaded images into an album, group, and send them to Flickr.

IcyMoon Vavoom has created a fantastic album featuring images taken over nearly four years. Each image is meant to capture a particular emotion, and they are quite effective and beautiful in their simplicity. It is amazing sometimes how much emotion can be expressed in images.

Prandi Capalini has put together an excellent album featuring the works of others that have caught his eye. I could do an entire blog just with the images in this album.
