Fix one bug, get a new one

I've finally managed to be rid of the bug, that made prims go black underwater, that I've been experiencing in Firestorm and now I've discovered a new one.

When I have shadows enabled and take a snapshot with a resolution higher than my "current window"-size and save to computer I'm getting seams in the snapshots. It's very visible on clear backgrounds such as the blue sky in this picture. Big squares all over. Occlusion makes it even worse.

I don't want to go back to taking pictures with low resolution just to avoid the seams! Trying to photoshop the lines out of every future snapshot would be a pain aswell.

Is there a fix or a work around for this bug? A viewer without this issue? I don't really want to give up on having shadows in my pictures when I finally can enable them.

Added afterwards: My friends Adrian and Bek also get the seams when using Firestorm. I am not sure yet where I'll go from here.
