Today I arrived home from work to see a nice box from Amazon.com setting about on my chair. I was very excited. Inside was a SpaceNavigator from <a href="http://www.3dconnexion.com/">3Dconnexion</a>. This 3D mouse sets stationary under my left hand giving my camera 6 degrees of freedom. I can zoom, pan, turn, tilt, roll ... this thing is amazing. I started playing and felt like I was in first-person mode with my camera, but with much more freedom. This is going to be great for machinima shots, shopping, and building.
