There are definitely a lot of buttons. I do find 2.5 infinitely easier to understand and use than 2.49.

i have tried to use blender soo many times.. but always give up at step 2.. too many buttons in that program!

I used Blender 2.5. Trust me, my mesh is horrible lol. I was just experimenting with it.
