A sudden bright light and a soft, whispering voice woke Icy zebra up from her short sleep in the cold snow. She looked up at the sky and found a star, much bigger than the rest, and it was twinkling and shining it's light at her.

"You are trying too hard, little zebra." Said the whispering voice, warm and gentle. "You've been so focused on wanting to be a part of Christmas that you have not realized that you've always carried Christmas with you. Christmas is a feeling. Christmas is in your heart. To be a part of Christmas you have to share that feeling."

Icy zebra looked at the star for the longest time and continued doing so even after it had gone. She knew now, what she had to do.

The evening was soon here. Icy zebra was exhausted after all the rejections and disappointments during the day.

As the snow began to fall, and make her feel like the lonliest zebra in the world, she began to loose her Christmas spirit. Maybe she wasn't meant to be a part of Christmas. It was unnatural after all. It doesn't snow in Africa. Zebras doesn't get any Christmas gifts nor do they wear Christmas hats. It's silly! :mad:

All Icy zebra wanted was to be a part of Christmas, but...

Santa did not want her to pull his sleigh nor help him with the Christmas presents. The snowmen was afraid of her, for some reason, and did not want her to help them with the Christmas decorations. Icy Zebra couldn't be part of the entertainment either and got into an unexpected fight with an ice skating teddy bear for even putting a hoof on the ice.

Was there no room for a Christmas zebra?

Icy zebra lifted her hanging head once again and noticed a teddy bear graciously skate by her on the glassy ice. What if she could be part of the entertainment and skate as graciously as him? Would he teach her how? Maybe even the snowmen would like her more if she could skate like them!

On wobbly legs she walked over the slippery ice towards the teddy bear to ask him. She had barely opened her mouth when he took notice of her and frowned while saying: "Leave the ice skating for us smaller creatures. You'll only break through the ice!"

She was about to turn around and go back when the teddy bear skated right into her! OUCH! What a meanie! =O She was definitely not wanted here either!

Icy zebra, eagerly wanting to be a part of Christmas, left Santa's sleigh to see if there was anything else she could do.

She saw some snowmen holding cheerful signs and doing pirouettes on the ice while decorating the sim. She would love being a part of making things feel more Christmas-y. She happily trotted up to them and offered a helping hoof.

The snowmen gasped in horror at the sight of the zebra and yelled: "Definitely not! Oh, no!" And quickly hid their noses, made of delicious carrots. It was clear that a zebra's help was not wanted here.
