Zindra is the name of the Mainland continent of "Adult Rated" land in Second Life. Given all the hoops and restrictions one must now jump through even to access Adult-Rated land, Several enterprising residents, along with the help of a few Lindens, thought it might be a good idea to draw a little attention to the content creators and merchants of the Adult side of Second Life.

I only found out about the Expo at the very last minute. Technically not until the day it opened. I read about it in a post on SLUniverse.com ... So when I posted commenting on the fact that I hadn't heard of this before, it was with a note of regret, because AS a merchant in ZIndra, I really wished I had been able to participate.

Well one of the organizers saw my lament, and took it upon themselves to find a place in the expo to squeeze me in.. and so I spent the good part of this evening putting together a booth to highlight some of ER's headliner products.

Like the fantastic Winchester Mystery House, "The Complex" as it's become known, is my never-ending vexation.. a construction project that never ends.. every new version improves on the last, as I push myself harder to make it better than it was before. In the picture, we see the main lobby of the complex.

The door on the left is the entry point. Travelling clockwise there are the two holding cells, followed by the private playroom (full of all sorts of BDSM equipment). The next is the doorway to the central common room. Which will be a public playspace and gathering area.

I couldn't resist. I had so much fun decorating the store for Christmas, I couldn't go back to the same-old-same-old just yet. So I decided to do some wintery whites and blues.. leaving the snow for the time being.

We used an old Linden freebie for the base of the cabin, which was just a single room. Made by "Bill Linden". Unfortunately there was no room in our build for Santa's bed.. but with all the modern tales of Elves, and a workshop, and a Mrs. Claus.. well, chances are this is little more than Santa's study.

This is my favourite part of the build. The snowy trees, the icy windows, and the glowing sphere on the barber's pole marking the north pole. I truly love it.

Honestly, when you're pretty much the spirit of Christmas, I think you're obligated to observe all the holidays. Of course, the baby Jesus was jewish, so it seems reasonable that Santa might light a menorah as well. And of course he has a radio to listen to the weather reports!

One of Ed Bumstead's creations, the sculpty tree. The lights seem to be a new addition this year. not bad for 17 prims, they twinkle and flash.. The stoic grandfather clock steadily ticks the night away.

The holiday freebies from ER certainly came in handy when putting this place together. A cozy fire, stockings filled with goodies, and a simple nativity scene.

We designed this as a sort of old-school Santa's cabin, more like the home featured in Lyman Frank Baum's children's book, "The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus". Thankfully, that book is now in the public domain, and is probably the most awesome characterisation of Santa Claus I have ever read.
