I had a lot of fun in SL back then.

This used to be one of a few sandbox areas. When I started SL there was only one sandbox sim, Cordova, with no "Sandbox" in the name.

I have had lots of fun building in the Morris sandbox. I haven't been here much lately.

The superstars are Keila Forager, Richie Deschanel, and Neovo Geesink.

Now that I think about it, these may have been available to everyone,. I remember searching for a star but I don't think I could find mine.

Several old timers with names I recognize were at a gathering taking place inside a box on the Atomic sim at SL6B.

At age 6, SL is still not able to deliver and display textures at the speed needed to provide an illusion of being in a persisitent virtual world. The tour ride offered at SL6B illustrates this point quite well. It's 35 minutes of gray textures and unformed texture-dependent sculpties.

I suppose it might work to take the tour a second time, or maybe three, and only watch on the last trip. Maybe the cache would get filled with the needed textures. Unfortunately, the cache is another area that has never worked very well and still doesn't.

The SL6B is a bit too uniform for my tastes. The sims all look the same so far.
