While I agree that it's a little..uhh..too cozy for my tastes, I like the idea in general. If they made it larger in circumfence and added a kind of sort seperating wall, I'm rather sure it would work well.

EDIT: ...and add proper walls around it.

It would make more sense to just put in more stalls, imo.

I don't understand why they think it speeds anything up. You still have to do all the clothes rearrangement to use it. And what about TP? Are you just supposed to air dry?

That'd take up alot more space and especially plumbing (and/or water or containers). At things like festivals you often don't have enough for either, and I'd rather have this than not enough toilets.

Besides....no, uh, horrible solid stains and smell on this. Normal public toilets at festivals tend to be DO NOT WANT because of misplaced fecal matter.

If they could add some walls (and from the pic it doesnt look like it would take up too much more space) then you could fit 5 ppl in a space that would usually fit only 3. On top of that, you would only have one water source which helps cut back on water (if it works like I think it does) so I can see the appeal but not without the privacy.

True, which explains my aversion to public restrooms. Hmmm what about children? Or really tall/short women? I wonder if "misfires" would be the norm. The floor could be rather nasty.

I'm better about being okay with public restrooms than I used to be, but there is just no possible fucking way I'd go into this nasty assed group squat toilet.
