I'm still a relative Novice, until fairly recently the most I posted on the internet has been my Credit Card Number at EBay and Macy's, but I try to keep it simple: Don't ask for opinions if you don't really want to hear them. Don't give an opinion if you don't really want to have it questioned, Opinions are like....everyone knows that one already, Don't take it all too seriously, and when all else fails, Point and laugh.

For those few people who feel the need to come here and say that it was an SS issue and not an SLU issue are really just biased and not reading the real message of the post I made.

Coming here and saying otherwise and ignoring the obvious concern is willful ignorance, which is almost...almost as bad as stupidity. The difference being ignorance can be changed while stupidity is permanent.

i was just a lil offended that she let a few apples soil the bunch.

it was an slu issue and should have stayed in the slu forums. but it is inevitable that cross forum contamination happens still i think it can be done humbly and respectfully.

I dont know jen so unfortunately so i cant speak to my desire for her to stay. just that she shouldnt leave because of one incident here.

Also to the person who a few weeks ago posted that SS doesn't sit there insulting SLU like we apparently do, I want that thread to serve as evidence that this mentality is completely incorrect.

While there is certainly something zen about drama over drama, please keep this thread civil. I am saddened that Jen felt driven away from here by people. That is never, ever a good thing. I need to look more into what she is upset about - but in the meantime, don't make this situation even worse by fighting over it.

Something that happened in political forums, I think?

I am often grateful that I'm not interested in politics! This is one of those times. It sure does make life easier when you're not.

As to this business of "cross-forum pollination" - I'm thinking, I think part of the difference of opinion here is how people view forums differently.

Me, I view it as all of us, spread out in different configurations over various forums.

Others view forums as much more to themselves.

Me, I'm NEVER gonna think it necessary not to talk about what happens on one forum on another, cause I'm just never gonna see it that way.

Plus, I think I just hate it when anybody ever tells me anything on any order of what I can say and not say.

But mostly, it's because I think of all of us, just talking in different places.

Sort of like, parties at different people's houses. This one happens to be at Cristiano's house.

In any case, I don't buy this business about how it's not polite to talk about one forum on another forum, and I guess I never will.

P.S. From reading the thread on SS, it seems to me like Jen is having a sort of disgust with forums in general. You gotta admit, it gets that way sometimes!
