Mine is this

Yesh... millefeuille

(of course this only came to mind because i finally got the new haagen datz but anyway)

How to torture someone you just met... and gain an unfair advantage over them.

Invite them over for a classic .. (semi informal) tea morning ..
Hire someone .. (or bribe them) to serve the tea... with a classic maid (or butler uniform.. white gloves etcetc) (oh and dont forget... a minton tea set.. or .. if possible something with all that gilded gold shit on the rim and handle type of set) (and a silver tray)

anyway the torture... (dont forget .. silver tray. ... tongs for the sugar etc)

have their tea served... then the millefeuille... make sure the plate (that matches the cups and saucers with the gold shit on the handle and the rim.. hokay?) is just a cm or so wider than the millefeuille is long. Make sure the maid (or butler) gives them a tiny lacey .. pretty.. expensive looking table napkin and a teenie tiny silver fork (that matches the sugar tongs and tspoon )

make sure the maid (or butler) places this plate in their hands.. (all formal like) and not just set it on the table...
get your own plate .. but you are having the less fancy .. easy to eat something or other (perhaps explain how you so very much LOVE millefeuille but alas due to your (insert suitable illness or congenatal condition here) you may only have ONE millefeuille a year.... and you had one a few days ago...
go out of your way to explain how you got the millefeuille just for them .. to share etc etc (add your own brand of social engineering here)

Then.. as they sink (or try to sink) their fork into the millefeuille ask them something

anything.. just focus your attention on them.. while asking meaningful questions.... while you really are just getting to stare at them while they try to eat the millefeuille without getting it on
their hands.. their face.. their clothes.. your sofa... your floor/priceless carpet...

i bet its really hard to lie while concentrating so hard on the millefeuille quandry .. that you could possibly ask them anything .. and get a relatively honest answer.
