That was actually a later revision of Sylvester Howard Roper's steam cylce. Ten years ago I wrote about the misconception that Gottlieb Daimler had created the first motorcycle when in fact Sylvester Roper beat him by almost 20yrs. Here's a link to the page I put up. Please don't laugh...I rarely have time for web development and my interests have changed, I started to update the site last spring...but..... meh...my bad.

That looks remarkably dangerous and fun. I wonder if I can buy a steam engine somewhere. If I could get the engine, I could build a contraption like that.
