Thwarting a Potential Drama Attack

Two British Queens Go For a Roll

Quote:
A DRUNK LILY ALLEN had a jokey row with SIR ELTON JOHN on stage at the GQ Awards - but upset her little brother ALFIE by announcing to the world that he's getting married.

Lily - co-hosting the event with Elton - began the night looking serene in a full-length gown, but then she started on the free champagne.

It was Elton – pretending to be agitated with her boozing – who started the funny war of words.

As Lily told fans: “And now to the most important part of the night," Elton replied: “What? Are you going to have another drink?”

Pretending to take offence, the Smile singer retorted: “F*** off Elton. I am 40 years younger than you and have my whole life ahead of me!”

It led to her co-host alluding to both of them having a cocaine habit, as he boasted: “I could still snort you under the table.”

At this point Lily simply told him: “F*** off. I don't know what you are talking about.”
Lily did a grand job presenting the annual show with Elton - but won’t be too popular at home after introducing Alfie’s partner JAIME WINSTONE as her “very soon-to-be sister-in-law”.

She asked her to show off her diamond before she presented the Comedians Of The Year award to THE MIGHTY BOOSH.

But Jamie could simply be seen mouthing back: “Shh, no one is supposed to know.”

A friend of the couple confirmed they are indeed getting married.

The co-hosts had a laugh at AMY WINEHOUSE’s expense, with Elton quipping: “Unfortunately Amy Winehouse could not be here tonight... but we will crack on.”

Lily said she had the hots for Inspiration award winner TONY BENNETT — saying she would “still f***” the legendary crooner.

Her whole life ahead of her, most of which will be spent working on the checkout at Kwiksave.

The Brits have been crazy for a while

Exhibit A:

British Shin Kicking Championship 2008 at The Cotswold Olimpick Games - Gloucestershire Sport & Outdoor - SoGlos.com

I LOVE them for this.

Marks & Spencer is my preference although we will go to Sainsburys if we are pushed for time (it is nearer). That twonk Jamie Oliver put me off Sainsburys tho. I am sick of seeing his face peering out at me from every isle.

I'm a Marks & Spencer/Sainsbury's shopper too.

I had to convert my other half from a Morrison's shopper when we first moved in together.

cos like, Morrison's is the new Kwik Save.

I saw the video ... neither Elton or Lily were being 'jokey' or pretending.

Ahh .. PR spin, gotta love it

I dunno, Humps. Eccentric sounds good, but the videos and photographic evidence point more towards "batshit insane". If it was just Monty Python and funny names for things that nobody else in the world understands, we'd agree with "eccentric". But you guys risk your lives sprinting down a 45 Degree slope (that's 12.5 metric degrees - your circles have 100 degrees, right?) to chase a wheel of cheese, and you stuff straw in your pants and kick the holy living bejesus out of each other. God only knows WTF Dwyle Flunking is...well, maybe even God is stumped by that one.

I want you all to be eccentric, but I'm leaning towards crazy based on the evidence in this thread.
