As just an aside, I think we may be getting too complex with all these colors and hexes and my contribution on the mp3 information or the analysis of the pictures. I think they're just random things to illustrate a point and nothing further.

I'm supposing what you DO want to pay attention to is strictly the codes.

The vielle is a European bowed stringed instrument used in the Medieval period, similar to a modern violin but with a somewhat longer and deeper body, five (rather than four) gut strings, and a leaf-shaped pegbox with frontal tuning pegs. The instrument was also known as a fidel or a viuola, although the French name for the instrument, vielle, is generally used. It was one of the most popular instruments of the Medieval period, and was used by troubadours and jongleurs from the 13th through the 15th centuries.

dwords... C construct, programming.... double words? Mono integration with other languages?

Workaday world is pretty common kitsch stuff for folks wanting to emulate the 50s "retro future" style... also, it was just released in a big mega Ren & Stimpy music pack someone made a few days ago that popped up on Metafilter.

Who lives in Columbus?

Oh I see, everyone got bored with the cipher train so I'm babbling to myself.

I lack the 1337 to add anything meaningful, I'm just occasionally adding my random 2.3 cents in because I'm curious about the outcome.

I had a kind of cool idea that that hash number was an ISBN number for a book, based on the "number is a thousand words" idea. It isn't ten digits but now I can't get the idea of a book out of my head, haha. 641 must be the page number zomg!

I just want my chance to feel smart

But I'm gonna go do some more housework, my pad's a mess.

I'm probably stretching it a bit here , but for shits & giggles I got a copy of the mp3, and in the Comments property there is

Quote:
0000037C 000003A8
00002112 000021B0
000080A0 000080A0
0000723E 000074D7
00002DA8 00002DA8
Tried to run it through mp3stego but getting an error that I don't know how to fix.

Seriously though, we could just all hit refresh every ten seconds. Five people doing it means we could get the counter to 0 in like fifteen minutes.
