There's a policy in place against bashing banned members, shouldn't that apply to Clancy as well?

I will say right now, while I feel utterly betrayed by Clancy because he posted my private messages to him in the forums and used them to call me "weak", "pathetic", etc, when the messages I sent to him were simply "hey, you backed me up when I was at a really low point in my life."
He turned them out of context and used them as proof that I am a totally pathetic person who needs people to defend me.
Yet, even after he did that, I didn't want him banned.

The PMs he sent to the women on the forum, however, were seriously messed up - I could probably get away with sending a slightly similar PM to Ten, because Ten knows me well, likes me and understands my sense of humour (I have not sent such a PM, BTW) - but to get such a PM from someone you don't care for and know it's not a joke..... that's just weird and creepy.
Yes, they could have put him on ignore, but then Cris has the dilemma of a serial forum stalker.
Any new people here, who identify themselves as women, could get the same lewd comments sent to them, and it reflects very badly on SLU. Because of this, I feel the ban was necessary.

I take no pleasure in this simply because I thought Clancy was a backstabbing shit - not a backstabbing shit who's also a pervert. If Cris had banned him after he'd posted my PMs and made all the racist remarks, I would have disagreed with it.
I cannot, however, disagree with someone sending such shit to women who are not good friends with him.
