Yeah I know when I worked with this girl who was being sexually harassed by her boss and asked repeatedly to be left alone, she should have just ignored that too and not caused problems by reporting him to HR which got him fired.

Sarah you seem a wonderfully warm and generous hearted person but I feel I must disagree with you here.
I am not sure that ignoring behaviour, which to all intents seems to be verging on serial perving, is a desirable thing at all.
While ignore would stop it happening to one person it would seem to enable the behaviour to continue to be used with someone else.

The thread in question seems to have been hidden on Second Lifer, where Clancy basically accused me and Cris of making all of this up and that the only PMs he sent to people were people he had romantic relationships with.

I can't speak for Ten, but I know he had no such relationship with Trinity, who has her own in RL. Further after he said that, Ingrid N came along and said that she had no romantic relationship with him either. She considered him a good friend, and asked him repeatedly to stop the explicit chat. But he claimed to love her, and she liked him as a friend, that she put up with it while still making it clear she was only interested in a friendship.

Until she found out that the same stuff was being sent to Tenshi and others.

Much of the contact was unsolicited and unwanted. But there was also such contact that was done with the female recipient believing they were the only one getting those messages. Clancy wanted to be a "playa," and he got showed for who he was.

That this was going on while he was busy calling me and others misogynists for whatever warped reason that I still can't figure out was just icing on top of it.

So no, Sarah, they didn't have to ignore it. That you make that expectation of the victims in this because you're friends with Clancy really upsets me. I love you to death but that is just ridiculous.

Joshua in all fairness. If you were to treat people with the same hostility you display on the forums in real life, you would have much more severe consequences as well.

Go tell co-workers to "fuck off" when you disagree with them. See how long you keep your job.

Joshua also, you are trying to come of as sensitive about the issue. When in reality the fact you keep bringing it to light debating over and over, well that is rather insensitive.

I notice the woman involved are not saying much anymore. CLancy is banned and has been shut up. They maybe now just want to forget about the issue and let it die.

Yet you are bringing it up 10 time more than them.

Allow the healing to take place brother. This is not your personal issue. It really had nothing to do with most the people in this thread. It really is coming off as a way for you just to vent your hate for Clancy.
