SLM - NO COMMISSION until 27 Feb !!!!!!!
So I was just checking my transaction history when I noticed that my last few sales had had no commission deducted.

My first thought was another SLM bug, but in the merchants favour for a change. However checking the Merchant home page there is this message:

We have just decreased the commission on the Marketplace to .01%, which means all listings priced under L$10,000 will have no commission taken. This commission decrease will be active until Monday, February 27, 2012 at noon PT.
Excellent news, that would be even better if it was a permanent arrangement

Edited to add:
Oh I just noticed Tatiana's posting - "Valentine's Day Downtime and Commission Discount Promotion" where she mentions that this commission free weekend was planned.

Huh, what can be the reason? It doesn't seem like it would motivate people to buy or sell in this short window. Maybe it's a side effect of something they are working on.

But nice news for you shop owners anyways!

I seem to remember a blog posting saying that was their apology for an outage.
