| The SL Grid contracted by a net 72 regions this week, with 160 new regions and 232 regions going off line. This brings the total number of Main Grid regions to 26837 ( 21463 private estates & 5374 Linden owned) 41 of the changed regions were renames. | This weeks proximity analysis indicates that 10 Zweite Welt regions went offline with another 8 being renamed. Other notable losses were 9 Sunnyland regions and the 4 Corporate Telecom Italia regions. There were no major groupsing of new regions coming online. Estate groupings going off line

| In the past 48 hours 85 Zweite Welt estate regions have gone offline , 32 of these have been renamed to ZW regions for a net loss of 53. This is in addition to the 18 (10 off line 8 renamed to ZW*) which disappeared last week. Zweite Welt was the large 150+ region estate which was rumoured to have been abandoned a couple of months ago . Quite a few of the regions (predominantly old openspaces) were admittedly empty for the last month or so . |

| A busier week then recent ones with 215 new regions added and 308 removed for a net loss of 93 regions. This brings the Main grid region count to 26683 of which 21301 are private estate regions and 5382 are Linden owned. The Ursula Adult mainland continent grow by 8 regions and the small 8 region Sakura estate went off line this week. However the biggest change was 99 Zweite Welt regions going offline (60) or being renamed (39) to ZW* regions . In total the Zweite Welt estate has dropped from a maximum of 119 regions down to 38 regions. Zweite Welt has been rumoured to have been abandoned since January. I also heard today of another 77 region estate which shows signs of abandonment. My own investigations does indicate that there are large swathes of land/regions with tenants who have overrun their rental tier by 20 or more days within the particular estate. I'll be monitoring the estate in question over time but for the moment I'll keep its identity private. The 1944 estate who have a collection of WWII Japanese themed regions have added a new German themed sim (1944 EisneWolfs Lager) where they seem to be developing V1 & V2 missles (this may be an older regions as it is a rename ) . | Senior Member | A lot of people were whining about LL not shutting down Zweite Welt as if it was all part of some nefarious scam or something but I think 2 or 3 months to resolve the billing dispute, decide the guy is never coming back and shut down his stuff against his will seems pretty reasonable to me.

| Curious about the Ursula new continent, was it hidden before? unless im blind (which is quite possible) I went back a few months on your reports and this is the first week you show "ursula" sims showing up on your reports of new sims, but you say they continue to grow. and even show some changing names. How big is it now? by the name Ursula182 is it at least 182 sims big?

I understand that at least one Linden (possibly Jack) has confirmed that this will be the new Adult mainland. It is being terraformed as we speak and there are Map signs of infrastructure such as buildings, roads and bridges/dams , but it is still closed to the public. The continent wasn't hidden as such but is far to the East of the rest of the Grid so is hard to spot - The X coordinates are all in the 1800's whereas all other regions range from around 400 to 1380 . You can see it on the map by searching for Ursula. There is also a related set of Leo regions in the area of Linden private regions. Leo 1 to Leo 9 originally showed a 9 region scale map of the current Ursula continent - Other Leo regions seem to be different scaled maps of the Ursula main water feature. Sounds like a Linden having fun with mapping . Again you can find these on the map. EDIT: It looks like there are another 60 or so regions being added as we speak - They appear on the Map but are currently invalid. The figures above are from my last survey - I've not yet run one today. | LL end Moritorium on no new Mainland regions LL have added 17 regions to the newest Mainland continent (which I named Little Willy) . Aside From Urusla and Blakes Sea , LL have not added any new Mainland regions , with the exception of a handful of sailing regions joining continents , since Last July when they announced a pause in the rollout of Mainland Sims . The 17 new regions are currently not set up for Auction but are open to the public. | What I find curious about the Ursula continent picture is there apears to be some building going on there all ready. Is it some sort of Mole activity? or are they letting some of the Sex places in early to build thier new clubs before its officaily opened so they will have a seamless transfer? Would be interesting to keep an eye on that. |

| Quite a bit of activity this week with 190 new regions and 408 regions removed (51 renames). 71 of the removals were regions which appeared on the Grid for the first time in the past 7 days so the net loss was 147 regions. The Main Grid is now 26568 regions (21195 private estates and 5373 Linden owned). 94 of the regions going off line are Linden owned, 68 Ursula regions (which all appeared for the first time this week) and 25 Leo regions. The additional Ursula regions have appeared and dissappeared twice this week. | Several interesting renames this week ,with JulieLuv becoming KaraLuv, evidence that Region names are a more temporary means of pledging undying love that a tatoo. The 9 regions for the Relay for lIfe Fashion Fair also went offline this week (The Arabian sea etc). The 8 regions centered around deelicious upon tuna & Ethtopia which also went off the grid this week are probably Linden owned . I've always had them marked as estate islands but by their names and also their grid location (they were geographically close to the Leo regions ) I think they were personal regions for Linden employees. They were never open to the public for me to confirm this one way or another. Estate groupings going off line

| Anshe to the rescue ? Probably not, but 40 regions have come online since Sunday with the name anshe1 to anshe40. They are located in the furthest south west of the grid . As they are not open to public access I can't say who the estate owner is but ... it smells very Dreamland like .  |

| Whilst I have no way of confirming this, the map image looks very much like the Zweite Welt abandoned regions which finally went off line a few weeks ago . Both in visible content , layout and quantity. Most of those were oldstyle openspaces |
