| Oh my... Just droppedfrom a big plot to a 560... Its been a while coming, weve been on the go 3 years. We had 20,000m at our peak. We change build every few months. I am well adapted to change. The whole idea of Moons was to be a creative outlet. A challenge and a laugh. However this most recent change hasnt been through a driving force in SL, its been because I want to go do an RL now. Shabby theatres in SL are less profitable than clubs because your only open a few hours a week. I gotta go spend my money in RL now. I am starting a business RL side, trying to get an adult education through distance learning. Thats a good thing! You know, RL is important! It always makes me happy when I see someone leave SL to do stuff RL! Its the right reason isnt it! Not that I am leaving SL... Just downsizing... So I rebuilt a cute wee theatre, stuck it in a corner of the land I had and start chopping bits of land off. Sold excess land this morning. I have 128 prims.... 14 of which free... Which will be 8 - 10 in the near future... To put on shows with zero elbow room.... Its suddenly dawned on me after selling what a task that is! I can barely put a sofa on stage! O.O Big sets are out the window! Out of the 200+ sets I have in my inventory I can use 20 of them as is.... Oh my... And what if we have guest acts at a later date? Excuse me mam, your tip jar is a beast! You cant rez it here!  What if theres something I dont like and I want to change... I am now well and truly land locked! EEEEEK! Why did nobody slap me last week???!!  I have no elbow room.. No buffer... My eyes just glazed over... Panic has set in...  Well, if anything this is going to be a task of building low prim sets.... Convex Hull and sculpties / mesh are my freind. Right... Unpack a gift box and make a set with the sculptie contents... The gift box couldnt rez... it was 15 prims... Oh feck... I think what I am trying to say in this post is.... Hug me  Please? |

| You could move to Noonkkot and join the Coonspiracy and get the benefit of our prim surplus. Plus we have a pretty low key viewer-friendly build. If you don't mind raccoons and weasels and rabbits and unicorns for neighbors.

| @ CouldBe - You always make me feel squishy inside >.> @ Adeon - Rest assured I have convex hulled the crap out of EVERYTHING!  @ Argent - I can live on other peoples land. I gotta own my land, on mainland not private, and I am painfully anul about that. Thanks for the offer though! Unicorns and racoons though eh... I gotta visit that sim now I will stick with the 560 for now, I just wanted attention and hugs if I am honest... You prolly noticed that...   @ Hap - Got your IM. Will reply properly later. Though related to Hap's IM. If anyone out there ever wants to start a theatre group, or make some money, seriously there are soooooo many places and people looking for theatre groups in SL! Theatre owners with stages busting to be used, but no theatre troupes to use them! If you were able to tell a good story and market yourself, you could make an absolute bloody fortune out there! We dabble in doing shows for people we like or that see our show and ask us over, but we are certainly not everyones cup of tea, and not bothered enough about money to aim for profit. So far we are the only group that I have seen in 3 years that do what we do the way we do it, and it does honestly leave a lot of people scratching their heads, so we dont push ourselves out there much. Set up a proper theatre group, tell some good stories, theres a hundred empty theatres with owners wanting them filled, a thousand audience members waiting to see you and a fortune out there waiting to be had. |
