This is not an issue about right or wrong. Stop trying to turn it into something about morality so you can sway things on feelings.

It's very clear. Cut out of black and white cloth.

LL banned gambling of all sorts, which you are trying to utilize a stupid loophole to get around.

End of discussion. This isn't about Congress, this isn't about Prohibition, this isn't about Little Mary in Massapequa whose mommy lost her job at PartyPoker.com and now she can't afford her tuberculosis medication and books for second grade.

I know you would like to melt the discussion down into and but the adults will be in the other room in that case.

I think a lot of the time the crew interviews the people on the factory floor about a process instead of people that actually understand the science behind the process, because a lot of the mistakes made in the narration reflect the sort of understanding a factory worker with no scientific background might have.
Well, admittedly, what is needed when your target audience is non-technical. Incomplete, but at least they'll get the gist.

At any rate: real world electronic slots can be regulated because of certifying software sources. LL won't be able to replicate that level of regulation given the speed at which things happen in SL.

1) Partypoker only lets grownups do poker with "play money" if they are "free" americans.

2) When you learn that the F-word doesn't make you erudite, come join us adults in the next room.

Grade school: where you learn that "Avoidance issues much?" isn't a sentence.

Check your bank account. Is your L$ smaller because of LL assurances? No? Mine is. Talk about tuned out.

Dang .. Argyle you sure you don't know the "FBI" guy?, sounds like you both watched the same "How its made" show.

Should watch the History Channel Expose on the guy who beat Vegas though since he was the computer genius who actually designed the Randomizer Chip in the slots. It was pretty cool.

Hey and is that John Tesh or the Dirty Jobs guy who voices those? - I cant tell.

And yes the way Congress does its bills with all the riders and pork is shameful - but it goes back for A LONG TIME,

The Congressmen who voted on that bill know all about how those games work .. the ones who claimed to be fooled by the Gambling rider are playing politics.

The few who actually were fooled need to fire some of their Staffers. Whose job it is to catch all those things.

But honestly that bill was a must pass bill, Any congressman that mattered knew everything in that.

It is a good thing you made slot machines. Getting answers out of you is like pulling the handle on one. You think you may get a straight forward payout, but just end up with crap.

I guess "Yes, I am paying back every dime I took from people who trusted me" is too hard to type.

Have fun sleeping in the bed you made.

Oh.. and as for Linden assurances, quit blaming LL. You could have researched much better then asking game makers. Your bad, not theirs.

I like the show, though I rarely see it. It was pure chance I caught 5 minutes of the slot machine episode last week. As for the "FBI Guy"... well, you saw my comments.

Whatever helps you sleep. I am not one of your little fans so I figured slots but I think the whole thing is skeevy.

Cute how you argue semantics though and avoid the direct stuff.

Ok, no slot machines.. some other federal law skirting piece of shit way for you to make money. Better?

No, not any better. I took every effort to consult Lawyers and LL staff to be honest with my game owners and players.

If you want to slam me, do so in some manner other than diarrhea of the fingers and constipation of the mind. At the very least, take a few clues from Colette. She doesn't like me, disagrees with me, thinks I'm creepy, etc. But she can at least read what was said and can consequetly rub a few words together.

Yeah, that whole direct question stuff worked so well on you.

If you don't like what I am saying or how I am saying it then feel free to not respond. It is not like you say anything of substance anyway. You can't even string a simple yes or no together to a direct question.

Don't bring Colette into our discussion. Nice try, though. Your troll card needs updating for that one.

OK, enjoy the bed you made. I am sure all the people you took for cash will still love you.

My question was if you were paying all money back, you failed in answer 101 so I am sure you have bigger things to take care of right now besides talking to anon guy on the internet. Getting your legal ducks in a row and such.

Bye.

I gave my direct answers to my customers who were satisfied. Why you made our business YOUR business is unfathomable. I owe you no answer unless you spent money on me. So far, you've only painted yourself as a meddling fool.

Aargle, man, you really bet on the wrong horse in this race. We tried to tell ya...

I put the over/under on Linden Lab's reaction time at eight weeks. Kudos to LL for closing this down as quickly as they did, and not continuing to put all of our virtual assets in jeopardy by playing chicken with United States law. Anyone who bet the under, I'm pretty sure I'll be paying out before Aargle refunds his customers. I hope I'm wrong in that!

Regards,

-Flip

I'm just going by what I read here: that Linden Lab has told these "loophole owners" to be ready to be shut down officially on Monday and suspend operations until then. By Aargle's reaction, that seems to be confirmation of them doing something. Cheers to them.
