Sim planning and prim allotment?

I've been looking in to investing in a sim with a number of friends, and as part of the landscaping and overall parcel layout, i've been considering different prim allotments where needed.

I've already begun playing around with overall layout by moving around appropriately size parcels along a grid, but am wondering - is there is any particular tool out there that would credit/debit prims from a bank of open space based on prim bonus?

How is something like this typically dealt with?

You already have your "prim bank": it's the sim.

You can set the whole region to a group, then parcel off individual plots, leaving them in the ownership of the group. Make your friends officers of the group so they can access the parcel settings.

Set up rental boxes for the plots, including the common area(s). No need to actually pay them, and no need to have them all over the place. My experience is with hippo (with the web-plugin).

Each of you rents a box or several (which can be set up to monitor a specific parcel, so you can put all the boxes into one remote corner and still monitor prim-usage of a parcel). Set the prim-limits per box/residents however you want, and let them build. Say each gets a 1,024sqm parcel; some are to get more than the usual 234 prims. Then just adjust the prim-limit for their respective parcel in the rental box to a higher value. Since all the land is still owned by the group, the server will dynamically assign prims where they are needed, while the boxes will alert you (and the user) if someone exceeds their prim-limit.

When you set it up so that everyone gets a box for their personal plot and one for the commons, they can participate in the overall landscaping on the sim and have their individual prim-usage on their plot monitored, while the server figures out how many prims to assign to which plot.

Once a week check the "server-usage" prim numbers on the plots to make sure that your allotments don't exceed the sim-maximum.
