| Morning Cartoons As a youngster growing up in Chicago, every weekday morning would start with a local kids program called the Ray Raynor show. Mr. Raynor would give the weather, perform little skits and show cartoons every day before I went off to school to be a smart ass and get sent to the principles office. It was one of those little rituals you remember after you reach a certain age. A true fond memory. It is true you can’t go home again and that things from the past are usually better off left there, i.e. my recent DVD screening of the old Thunderbirds tv show (it amazed me that I would race home from school at a full run to get home to see this show, and in my forties it was just entirely too painful to watch). But some things take you back in a good way and lately before I start my day I find myself scouring the internet for cartoons, just to start my day and feel like that rotten little kid again. So here is one for all to enjoy. Start your day with a laugh and a bit of nostalgia, it has been working for me through a rather tough rl stretch. |

My favourite character though was (and still is ) Sylvester ... hated Tweetie ... Later on I now see Sylvester as the Common Man - He has many faults but some good sides to him and life just gets in his way .I can't find the one with his son and Hoppy (?) the Kanagaroo ... so this will have to do
