I can't wait for this film. I'm such a sci-fi geek mixed with a CG geek...

I'm not gonna lie...it looks damn amazing. I think they went Weta didn't they? Plus aren't they going Real3D with this? I've seen R3D in action (Pixar's UP), and I was highly impressed.

This trailer explains a lot more and shows there's more to the film than pretty visuals.

Am, however, wondering if Michelle Rodriguez can ever play anything but Michelle Rodriguez? I don't think I've ever seen her play anything else.

Yes the FX work was done by WETA. Can't wait for this one. They could release this as a silent movie and I'd still go just for the pure visual splendor.
