Oh you tantalise me with a company who show Mad Men on demand when the BBC isn't showing series 3 to the new year and then slap me with "THE VIDEO YOU ARE TRYING TO WATCH CANNOT BE VIEWED FROM YOUR CURRENT COUNTRY OR LOCATION"

Easy way around this. Use a web proxy service based in the country you want.

In the US, can't get into a Japanese site? Or want to watch something on a European website?

Here's a google search, you may have to try a few of the links before you get one that will work with the desired website.

Maybe for Halloween but possibly by Christmas it will be internationally availabe

It will only be a small portion of BBC shows - those they make themselves (a good proportion are made by independent production companies) but that includes Doctor Who & Torchwood.

EDIT- But it won't be free

- so the proxy server route may still be called for

The guy who thinks we'd pay $10 to watch an episode of Torchwood is daft though. I can wait and buy a season. I'd pay $3 to watch Doctor Who when it airs.. or something close to that amount.

I wish digital media providers could figure out that unreasonable prices and blocks to access only lead to piracy and workarounds.
