My Mood: SL Join Date: June 12, 2003 XBOX Leaderboard: 4th | Battlestar Galactica: The Plan The movie is set just after the Cylons destroyed the human home planets, the story revolves around two Cylon agents as they struggle with the remaining human survivors, both on the escaped ships and those still on the planets. It will first be on DVD, Blu-Ray and digital download on October 27th of this year and it will tentatively air on the SyFy channel in 2010. According to Tricia Helfer in the November '09 Maxim magazine out this month the DVD version will have a lot more explicit scenes and that she refuses to have a body double. Grace Park also says that there will also be some male nudity. Battlestar Babes Pictures - 1 of 8 - Maxim Girls Photo Gallery | Maxim.com Last edited by Edav Nomad; 10-16-2009 at 11:00 PM. |

Business: Fate Gardens Flowers and Trees | It's a stupid title considering we now know the only "plan" is one insane Cylon's half-cocked revenge against those who built him. Humans are just tools; he doesn't really care whether they live or die. So the plot here is just mass confusion?

Business: Abbotts Aerodrome | I miss BSG too, but honestly I'm tired of that storyline, and I'm not particularly interested in seeing the Cylon side of the same story. I'll watch, of course, but I'm more interested to see what happens with the new show, Caprica.

My Mood: | I think I'm going to wait for the buzz on Caprica before I dig into that show. If people seem to like it as much as BSG then I'll give it a shot. But I still have the nagging feeling that Caprica is intended to capitalize on BSG's fan base at a fraction of the production cost. |

Business: Abbotts Aerodrome | Wow. Was that ever tedious. I bought the entire BSG series, including Razor, on DVD. I won't be buying this one. |

The plot spiraled from "They Have a Plan" to the writers admitting they had no idea what they were doing week to week after the first half of the first season. It was, of course, blamed on the writers' strike. Most writers begin with an outline, a plan, that can be followed to complete their work even if someone backs over them with a battle cruiser. I wonder why the producers agreed to back the series without amply manufactured research and presentation of at least one complete arc? odd that | |
