Life on Mars

Does anyone else like Life on Mars?
I've only seen the first 4 episodes so far, but it's really good.
Apparently it's been out quite a while in the UK as it's had 2 seasons and now a sequel is coming out called Ashes to Ashes.

If you don't know it, it's about a policeman who's investigating a killer and then his gf goes missing while she's tracking the killer.

After trying to find out what happened to her, he's upset and takes a break from driving and steps out of his car only to be run over.

When he wakes up, it's 1973 and he's suddenly a policeman on transfer from Hyde. He isn't sure if he's time-travelled or in a coma or whatever, so he is trying to solve crime in 1973 while figuring out how to get back to 2006.
It is intriguing to see the way policework differs from now and then, too plus the sexism and racism of the 70s that freaks out the guy who is from 2006.

Yes, it's fantastic. The lead actor of course (John Simm) played Dr Who's nemesis at the end of the last series. Great stuff. Get your torrent clients out people, if you've not seen it yet. =)
