Dollhouse Season 2

Well the second season of Dollhouse is off to a slow start. I don't know if the budget cuts or what have affected it, but it was not until the middle of the second episode that the show has been even remotely interesting. I'm not sure what happened, but I am hoping it will get better, as this will most likely be the last season of it - I can't imagine it will do so well in that death time slot, and the first renewal was a mercy renewal.

I am watching all my favorite shows on VCAST and on hulu.com. I am trying to increase their views in all different formats.

This is one of them.

I am a huge Hulu fan - not such a fan of watching tv on a cell phone though.

I have the enV 3. The screen is big enough for me to enjoy it. Especially very late at night when everyone else is sleeping and I am bored out of mind and wrestling with insomnia. I have caught up on heroes and grey's anatomy that way.

Thanks for the review. I thought the show was incredibly slow last season and planned on skipping it. However, I had a moment of doubt when I heard that Summer Glau was joining the cast. But now I feel like the only thing I'm missing is an hour of yelling at the tv screen in frustration. I can save that for Heroes

I watched the season 2 premiere and almost expired from boredom until well into the episode. I really wish shows were budgeted in 3-year chunks instead of having to duke it out season after season.

Or that Josh W. would pitch to HBO instead.

This week's episode was much better. We gain a little more insight into what's happening to Echo.

I haven't watched this weeks yet but I'm in the same place. I'm just not feeling it like I did the first season.

I agree the first episode was exceptionally slow, but I liked the 2nd one a bit more. I'm not giving up on it just yet, but it's opposite Medium now and we can only record one on the DVR. If I end up having to make a choice, at this point, I would choose Medium. I'm hoping it continues getting better.

Maybe it's just taking a little bit to get back into the swing of things? I hope so as I love it and want it to succeed. I wonder how the extra episode Epitaph One that a lot of us saw over the summer has affected our view? I know that it was such a perfect end to the show they expected to be axed that I find it coloring my opinion of the new season. And I want Dr. Saunders to come back

Hard to believe Jonathan "Thunderbirds" Frakes directed tonight's episode. It was terrific.

According to AICN, Dollhouse is taking a 4 week break during sweeps, returning the Friday after Thanksgiving with two new episodes. The first three weeks of December will burn two more episodes a week, bringing the count to 12, then they will show the finale probably in January after the holidays.

I'm guessing Lie to Me will take over the friday death slot when 24 returns to Monday after House.

I've watched this show despite never thinking it was all that great, but last night's episode was really, really good. More like this, please, writers.

Also: hey, it's Lundy!

It was probably the best episode of the entire series -- I am always hopeful that at some point that will become the norm and not the exception.

A review of the most recent episode FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE SEEN IT ALREADY NO PEEKING IF YOU HAVEN'T.

Friday's episode was definitely one of the best of the series - but overall this season has just been severely lacking. I am sad that Fox pulled it during sweeps, that is a bad bad sign, even if there will be back to back episodes when it returns. I am not sure what happened this season - overall it just seems to be really lacking something. Perhaps it should have ended at episode 13, which was a perfect closing.

I agree that Friday's episode was so good that it puts in stark contrast the episodes that aren't really very good at all, but I do think that this show is a two-season series (well, hopefully, at least) and deserves more explanation ...

Try watching Friday's episode and then watching Epitaph One. There are so many connections that you can make from them that it's just ... a really cool way to spend two hours.

It's interesting that perhaps the best episode of the series is the one where the lead actress has three scenes and maybe 8 lines of dialogue.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
