Rope (1948) and I second Rear Window too because Hitchcock is awesome (I know Craig listed "The Rope" and I am not sure if he's thinking of the same film or not)
Rope was made to look like it was all shot in one take so the camera only changes once in the movie. I saw the stage version with Anthony Head and I got to see his willy (gay sex scene at start)

Carnival of Horrors - strange film, but appealing.

Any old sci-fi film like Invaders From Mars, and Them, and of course the wonderous Invasion of the Bodysnatchers (the remake with Donald Sutherland and Jeff Goldblum was good too).

Not very old, but the original The Italian Job
The remake was utter crap and wasn't even in Italy!!!!
