YouTube - Tropic Thunder - Robert Downey Jr. plays a black guy...?

I saw it last night. I LOL'd.

Not my usual type of film but I went along with a friend whose a *deep breath* Ben Stiller fan.

It was actually really funny! Some bits wher shit and Ben Stiller-ish but most of it was fucking hilarious!

Anyone else seen it?

I enjoyed Ben Stillers biceps.

I loved it! It was way better that Cats!!!!!!

Hysterical. Robert Downey was incredible. Tom Cruise showed what he probably will be like for real in about 20 years, and I was hard pressed to find someone who they didn't manage to offend. It will be in my home collection for sure.

Stiller's main point in the film was obviously to make fun of Hollywood and his fellow actors as well, and he succeeds enormously. The fact that mentally challenged rights groups are calling for boycotts only proves Stiller's point: we all need to chill out, and stop taking things so seriously .

I think it's time to do a movie on these insanely PC special interest groups. Maybe the Spinal Tap people could do it. Make up an obscure group, something like people who eat Brussel Sprouts on Tuesday or something, and have them go an a camapaign against maybe a radio talk show host who dissed vegetables or something.

I thought it had some good parts, but I found it ironic that the disability advocacy groups were all set to protest the movie when, in fact, it is the Asian Americans who should.

Seriously, I am sick of movies with negative, stock, stereotypical Asian characters. Ben Stiller can go fuck himself.
