Wait, I was ready to be disappointed at this point as well. Tara is annoying as hell, forget her.

Jeez, I told you people this was just fun.

Good god, I know the crap a lot of you people watch and if you aren't watching Mad Men you have no reason to be snobs.

Mad Men == best show on tv.
It's so subtle, yet awesome.
It makes me want to dress up in a nice suit, with a skinny tie, slick my hair back, and just drink and smoke all day at the office, while ogling my hot secretaries.
God, thems was the good ol' days...

Then you have no place turning up your nose at amusing vampires.

I am watching the best show on tv.

Hey....i enjoy vampire humor as much as the next guy...but they sold this show as serious dramatics right?

Remember all those ad campaigns?

None of them were humorous. Anyways, more power...maybe itll get better as it goes along. It's only the pilot ffs...

Ok, forget the rest of the show, how can you not find Bill the vampire worth watching at least? He is hawt.

Really? No way! This was great satire. Did you see the "Vampires were people, too" hate crime awareness ad? Or the mockumentary about vampire rights amendment? Classics

Meh...

that "satire" was lost on me then...

seemed a bit serious...and totally off the mark for the first episode. I had high expectations based on the ingenious "ads".

and now...i am emosad.

So, in a somewhat related, utterly awesome in its own way yet terribly disturbing tangent, i can haz teers of bludz.

I went to the eye doctor today because my left eye keeps watering. Nothing really the matter there, just irritation, but in looking at my right eye, the doctor said, "Did you know you have a blue thread embedded in your right eye?"

Um.... no.

Five agonizing minutes with a pair of tweezers aimed at my eye later, it's gone. But my eye was all upset and angry about it and running with reddish tears.

Made me think of this thread, and also the one with that disease where people were picking fibers out of their skin and stuff. Except I think I just got too close to a blanket or something.

So I just saw it.

It didn't make me love it, but I'm definitely curious to see what comes next. Sookie's little mannerisms kinda put me off - and I didn't expect all that sex even despite what I've already heard here

i downloaded it, (i have no idea when they will show it here, and im impatient)

I have no reference regarding the accents, so they didn't bother me, but i liked Bill - and yes he was hawt!

Overall, I liked it, got good potential, especially the idea of humans preying on vampires

this thread made me curious, so i watched eps 1 and 2 this morn (www.surfthechannel.com under the tv links under the drop down menu under channels)
is it about vampires or random acts of sex?

loved the opening scene though in the convenience store
