Fruit of the Loom: Blue

I found this commercial really surreal and oddly beautiful:

I don't quite know why. I don't normally see much advertising (bless you, TiVo), but caught this in the background tonight. I'm glad I did. It is pretty.

I also really loved the VW commercial a few years back... where it is morning in New Orleans and everything was in sync. Gorgeous.

I heard that song on TV a while back and thought it was so gorgeous (with quirky-ass lyrics), started humming along, thinking it was the start of a TV show or something -- turned around and there's a big fruit on my screen. Thank god Quimby wasn't home.

But yeah, it's a strangely pretty, soft-rock song for an undies-company commercial.

I've always liked that one. The song always struck me as somewhat Beatle-esque

I'm glad I'm not alone in my ad-loving insanity. Thanks for the re-assurance.

When I first heard it I was in the computer room, and had the ballgame on in the tv in the living room. I heard it and thought it was a nice tune, but didn't really pay attention to the lyrics. Next time it came on, I went out to see it and said, "Holy Shit. Fruit of the Loom". I usually don't see commercials either thanks to the DVR. I even fast forward through them during the Super Bowl.

Synchronicity (the song is "Jung at Heart")

I'd never seen either of those before, you do get good ads over there. Both very nice, although the woman in the second one reminds me of Cherie Blair, which spoiled it a little

Wow! I thought I was alone in really liking both of those. Strange that BOTH of them would be posted, but allrighty then. Yes, those were quite cool--although I've never seen that LONG of a version of "blue" before. That song reminds me of a cross between Radiohead (their OK Computer album), Keane, and Coldplay.
