The funny part was that everyone else ran out but the plaintiff and defendant. They stood there looking around like "wtf?"

those lights are very heavy.. and very hot, and a very rich source of high voltage electricity...

Judge Judy did the California thing. We all know to get under something during those things. I am just amazed nobody else did.

Earthquake 101: Find a doorway or get under a desk/table. Running around does not make you safe. You learn that in kindergarten around here.
