| Casablanca. Its TOTALLY in a class all by itself. The symbolism is probably lost onmost people, but its wonderful nonetheless. Sooz

My Mood: | I was disappointed in that movie, but I think it's because it was marketed with more emphasis on the 'fantasy' aspect than it should have been. No one stab me! I thought it was great, it just wasn't what I expected. Did anyone mention MirrorMask? |

My Mood: | Pan's Labyrinth was such a beautifully done movie but the ending was a bit of a let-down because it's the only way that the backstory and loose ends would come together, so it was obvious where it was headed all along. It was still handled wonderfully, though.

Business: Church of Luxe | I adored Pan's Labyrinth, The Orphanage, and The Devil's Backbone. I think Guillermo del Toro just has a great talent for endings, because all of those movies are gorgeous (The Devil's Backbone is especially frightening for me, but with a surprisingly uplifting and beautiful ending). He sure knows how to live in the basement. I really enjoyed the Ocean's Eleven ending.
