Michael Moore is an ass x infinity is the nicest way I can put it.

Yep that stunt with Heston was as classless as Rosie O'Donnell's ambush of Tom Selleck who also acted with great class while she looked like raw sewage.

Heston had a lot of class and was a truly nice man.

I've never been in a theater where the entire audience collectively groaned at the ending and then, simultaneously everyone started on the "I want my money back" rant. The movie sucked giant hairy moose balls, but the camaraderie it provoked among a bunch of strangers in a movie theater was pretty cool. We all left the theater swearing, griping and laughing over the hour and a half of our life we'd never get back.

The "Avengers" remake was like that in the theater. The entire film was one giant suckass surreal piece of crap and then adding Eddie Izzard for no god awful reason as a villain just sealed it's suckiness

Eddie Izzard rocks, but I don't think he had a hope of saving that movie.

If you want a "I want two hours of my life back movie" go see van helsing. It was so bad me and my gf not only couldn't walk out, but couldn't manage to beat the opression well enough to fool around. I really wanted to like it, but no. Just no. Not even Beckinsale in leather made the movie worth watching.

I recently watched a Bill Murray movie called Broken Flowers. It has the worst ending ever. I cant even call it an ending, it was like they ran out of batteries in the cameras and just decided to end it there instead of finishing the damn story.

I will be unpopular here, LOTR : Return Of The King. Holy fucking shit, JUST END ALREADY. I thought that was the most annoying ending to that very amazing Movie Series. I love all 3 movies but the final ending felt like about 3 hours just to get through the final 30 minutes.

It isn't that Izzard was good or bad--it's just that you had no idea why or what or who--kinda thing.--no character development.

I thought Van Helsing was OK but ONLY because of Kate

Forget about the ending. Tooth & Nail has to be one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Ya see the world has run out of gas and I guess the director thought it would be cute to name the characters after cars. You know Dakota, Viper, Tacoma, etc. It just gets worse from there. I snuck into the movie and STILL want my money back!

"The Professional" - the US version, not the French/international which I don't like. I love this movie so much, but every time I want it to end differently. I guess it is not terrible, but it is terribly sad.

I agree it was sad, but I actually think that ending made it a far better film than it would have been if they'd lived happily ever after or whatever. That ending would have been predictable, trite, and utterly forgettable.

agreed, i saw it - and at the end simply went 'meh'

unfortunatly it seems to be the patter of modern 'indie' type film making.... no discernable plot, middle aged actor plodding grumpy faced through the film, and a non-ending

its bollocks, film (whether blockbuster or low budget) should make you FEEL something, whether that be happy/sad/disgusted/horrified/ or just make you think - but over the last few years anyone can film 'real life' with no events, and call it 'art' - an 'event' makes the film, its something to hang the script onto, if i walk away from a film feeling nothing then they have failed

its the same as all art - even if you hate it - if it gets a reaction then its working, nothing is worse than blandness

its the emporers new clothes, and it makes me mad, that if you dont like one of these bullshit films that seemingly have no script or angle then you are a philistine, its making film for films sake

(sorry venting)

I didn't like the ending of Cloverfield, even though I thought it was clever how they did it.

The endings aren't really different, I don't think.

I thought the international version had a completely different relationship between Matilda and Leon. In the US version, IMO, it was sweet and loving in a non-sexual way. In the international version, Matilda wants the relationship to be sexual (I can't remember Leon's response aside from him refusing).

I love "The Professional" b/c of the idea that Leon steps out of his life to help Matilda who has no one, and they transform each other. Adding Matilda's prepubescent attempts to seduce Leon killed the international version for me.

But I still want both versions to end differently.

I forgot a big one: "Children of a Lesser God". I pretty much hate every moment of that movie, but the ending is the worst. In my ending, she tells that arrogant prick of a guy to f off in sign and never wastes another minute of thought on him.
