.bin sounds like binary. Which is so gerenic that I have never heard it used for burning CDs. What is it? Where is it from?

Your .bin file really should be accompanied by a .cue file.

If I recall correctly, cdrdao can burn them under Linux. It's been some time since I used that and I'm not sure if that's available for Windows.

The .cue file should be like 500 kb or something, with the .bin file containing the actual CD (so like 100-700 mb, depending on how full the CD is)

If you want to burn a .bin file without the .cue, you're making it harder. I do believe there are ways to burn it anyway without, but I can't remember how.
