I have a strange thing going on with SLURLs the last days.

It all started when I tried the Snowglobe viewer.
I installed that next to the standard one.
From that moment on the SLURL's only worked for the snowglobe viewer, no longer for the standard one.

Snowglobe did not convince me, so I deleted that version.
But ever since SLURL's simply don't work for me any more in the standard SL viewer.
I run windows Vista.

Anyone with a simular experience and or advise.
I already checked the register with CCleaner for loose ends.

I had the same problem when I installed snowglobe, and found the solution on a thread that was posted here just a week or two ago. Do you use Firefox? The procedure described in this thread fixed it for me: SLurls broken?

I use IE explorer.
But thanks for the link. It might be useful.
Now at least I have a hint where to look in IE.

Grrrrr, can't find the solution for IE.

Have you reinstalled/updated your stock SL viewer? That should fix the association.

I tried a reinstallation and it worked!
