just wondering if one of you technical geniuses can tell me how u think this little notebook would run with sl or even run at all? i have not been on sl in 3 months,can't access my desktop at my current living situation,just lookin for a quick fix for a couple months,some way to get on sl i know it would run slow just lookin to stay n touch etc, i know i could check system requirements and what the mini notebook has, but i'd rather get the jist from one of you guys thanx.

We won't be able to tell you squat without seeing the system specs either.

It will probably run it, as in you could log in and chat with people. But I would be surprised if you got more than 5 fps at any time. I think you would be better served saving your money.

thanx didnt think so,just need a quick fix bandaid temporary access to sl for like 2 months,but ya im better off saving the 200 getting somethin for atleat 500

GMA950 means it is a standard netbook and will run SL fine, although limited. Heck you can even get 30fps in an empty sim

. Just be careful as there are also netbooks with slower CPUs (Atom Z series) and different graphic chipsets (GMA500, not made by Intel) that will not run SL. The Dell Mini 10 (without the v) is one of them!

And please ignore the official specs from SL, they are at least 2 years outdated, wrong and misleading.

Hey, SL will work, i have an Acer Aspire One, which is basically the same thing, you will have max. 10fsp with the lowest possible settings, so yeah it's better than just IM, but it's not even decent quality
