I'm looking for help with land ownership and tier

I understand if Land is held by a group instead of an individual then there is a 10% bonus in area which can be held before tier is exceeded

Currently I'm on the 1/2 a sim tier level and I'm very close to the 33280 sqm limit.

Am I right that if I donate my land to a group I control, the group could own the 33280sqm and an additional 3328sqm before any additional tier was due ?

If so how do I go about this , I have a group with an Alt (we are not on speaking terms but I keep her locked up in RL and don't let her online so she can't leave ).

Are these the right steps ?

1) Click on the "Allow Deed to Group" Box on the about land
2) Click on the "Owner makes contribution with deed"
3) Click the "Deed to group" button
... repeat steps 1 to 3 for all my land parcels


Is there anything else which I should do ? Are there special group settings/privileges I should be aware of if I add anyone apart from that my Alt ?

Yes. Generally if you use the default 'everyone' for anyone else you shouldn't have many problems but I encourage you to go through group roles and examine what's there.

Thanks Kristan All my land has now gone from green to Blue I'll look further through the group roles later

Now just the annoying problem of finding every bit of linden grass in my Forest which needs allocating group membership
I notice that the Linden Trees and Grass 1 Prims don't get highlighted when you use the land managment ownership tools ... :*sigh* - have to walk round by hand setting their group.
