Any SLUers been watching it this year? Alot of my friends and co-workers have been and I tried to watch Game 7 Sixers/Celtics last night. But after about an hour of 30% shooting and constant fouls and turnovers I went back to baseball.

I used to love NBA basketball but I think the quality has gone way downhill since the 80's and 90's.

I have always said that all you need to do is watch the last 5 minutes of a basketball game. It lasts for about 30 minutes anyways.


ok, fine...I'm not a basketball fan. Does it show?

The shooting quality is pathetic. Case in point..Paul Pierce is heralded as being a great scorer. I can't stand him...why? because he gets about 40% of his shots in the basket. Sure he might get 25 to 30 points in the game...but just think of how well the team would be doing if he had given the ball to someone who can actually get a basket.

ok...I'm done ranting.
