When I went to link an image to the Show Your Style thread just now I was challenged by the fact that there is no forum friendly link button.

I have Heart, Facebook, Album, Replace and Delete.

these are what they look like...
if you don't see those icons.. then perhaps try going to your User Control Panel in the Edit Options section.

Near the bottom is Miscellaneous Options .. for the "Message Editor Interface".. maybe switch to Enhanced... or Standard .. that's my only thought!

If you mean getting the link from Snapzilla, I just grab the "permilink for full picture." There is a little Polaroid like icon under the picture for this. It will open just the pic in a window and you can copy the URL from the address bar. Use that with the button Hana pointed out on the forum side.

Hi Circle

I don't think those options have changed. But knowing Cristiano as we do from this forum he will probably add one for you. The Live Panel Wizard page gives you two or more options for linking various photos (more if logged in as a registered user). But the easiest way to link a photo is simply to view the full image which is done with the link next to the icon Rhonda mentioned and copy the link from that page's URL. Then use the insert image icon above (looks like a postcard of a mountain complete with postage stamp). And paste the link in there being sure to remove any extraneous http:// which is there by default.

There was a button previously under the snapzilla pic which created a url that you copy/pasted to make the image appear in a post. This was always my favourite option as I am lazy

I'll try the other way.

I am in the process of reorganizing the page - the forum friendly/blog icon is now one of the picture size options to the left of the picture. If you click on it, you can then right click on the image and copy the URL. I will work on it a bit more and add direct links for each size.

That page is massively under construction. Once I stop screwing with it, I will make a help page for all the new stuff.

I knew you were at work on it. Problem is I am so used to doing things the hard way I don't miss the simple little icons that others do. But I am learning.

One of the changes I am making is that every icon will also have an associated text link so that it is clear exactly what it does.
