Cool Testing help needed - Snapzilla image editing

I have pretty much finished up image editing on Snapzilla, but before launching the feature fully I need to do a little testing with people who have various systems. The image editing features are provided by Picnik, the same image editor on Flickr. If you would like to help test this feature, please send me a PM or post here and I will contact you with details. Thank you!

'Tis because I stayed up all night working and passed out for most of the day and have not followed up on my email yet

Okay Guess I should repeat what I just twittered here...

I tried the system, and I did a little bit of a review. Keep in mind that I am a "real world" Graphic Designer who has been using paint programs since I got a touch tablet for my Atari 800. I've been using Photoshop since.. well.. since it was Aldus Superpaint. So my opnion is going to be skewed a bit towards the "gee I wish it did X" direction.

Anyways, if anyone wants to see the results and the review.. it's over here:

PS: I love the auto-display function on the forums here.
PPS: The thumbnail in album view doesn't seem to refresh.

Makes me wonder how the rss feeds and signature, etc. would cope with an edited image.

I don't have a Snapzilla account (), but if you need someone on a Mac OS X, tell me.

Couple of hours later, the thumbnail has refreshed.

I should mention that as far as a dual display, windows XP SP3 system with a p4 processor and using Firefox, it definitely did "work"... even with SL running at the same time on Monitor #1.

I need to make some adjustments to the caching code - the browser seems to hold onto the old thumbnail for dear life. I am going to experiment. I have some comments as well on your review, I'll post them when I am not so sleepy - I really appreciate the input

It seems that PicNik *MAY* not be able to handle uploaded images (as opposed to those brought in via postcard). I tried the trick that you mentioned, to try the editor on one of my recently uploaded vendor images.. and kablooey "unable to get picture, please try again".

Definitely worth some more testing, my internet is a bit flaky, so it should be tried by someone else too.

I actually tried it with an upload and it was fine. You weren't perchance using a .png image, were you? Cris said he still had work to do on that.

Hard to tell, once the image is uploaded to snapzilla.. Looking at the image, yes I think the source was a png actually.
