To add some additional value to the Support SLU subscriptions, I am offering a low rotation banner ad as part of the subscription. You can have either a top, side or square banner. The specs for the ads are available here:

To set up your ad, just send an email to advertise@sluniverse.com with the ad image(s) and the link details. This applies to existing and new subscribers.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

I am going to be adding an option to pay in world for subscriptions soon and will post a thread when it is available.

The only qualifier is that I reserve the right to reject a particular ad, and no adult content.

Would that be do-able? Maybe for sending the little SLU gifts and stuff? Or start having some special "premium" gifty graphics that could cost SLU Ducats?

Subbed when I saw that you were short on cash, hadn't noticed this post yet. Anyway, now it got me wondering if it would be ok to send in an ad for a roleplay sim as long as it's not adult content?

I'd say just send it in the ad to spec posted above and see what Cris thinks of it. (I mean there are real estate ads, so...)

There have been ads for roleplay sims too. There was the ad for that post-apocalyptic roleplay sim that was playing for awhile.
