In an effort to help grow the SLU forum community and not just rely on people stumbling upon it, I have added the ability for you to easily invite a friend to join the SLU forums.

In your User CP menu, and also on the Quicklinks menu, there is now an "Invite your friends" link. All you need to do is fill in the email address to send to, and you can also modify the message it is going to send if you would like. If the user follows the link and registers, it is credited to you.

The Invite your Friends page also keeps track of invites you have sent and lets you know if they have been accepted.
