Well, the SOPA/PIPA protests across the web were pretty impressive - and effective. I have to admit, I'm glad the site is back. I kept getting into fights on Plurk.

The fight against this legislation is not over yet. I will be adding a link to the information page I made for the protest to the navigation. I urge you all to please continue to contact your representatives for those in the US, and to petition the US State Department if you are outside the US.

Thank you again for supporting SLU and for the efforts people made to help stop these bills.

Hollywood is behind these bills, and we know what happens with zombies in their movies, they always come back for more.

I wrote a paper letter to my Congressman's aide that handles Dept. of Justice affairs. Congressmen don't have time to pay attention to all the details of laws they vote on, so I figured that method would work best. Also paper letters count more than email because it's more work to produce them. I'm looking to see what kind of response it gets.

It wasn't all that difficult to use wiki today. Just access it through Google. In most cases the page would come up for a second before it went to the blacked out page. If you hit ESC the page would stick around long enough to be read.
