As I have been working on integrating the various portions of the site, I have also added several new features, both large and small that I wanted to point out.

First, I have purchased and added on the companion blogging system for Vbulletin. If you click the Blogs tab at the top of the forums, it takes you into the blog portal. From there, there are options on the left hand side to access your blog and add posts to it. All forum users here can create and manage their own blogs - they are fully integrated with the forums. I know many people have offsite blogs, but for those who don't or want a secondary place to speak your mind, I hope you enjoy them. It is a first release of the software, so over time I am sure additional features will be added.

Next up is another major feature, the Links directory, which replaces the former link directory. The previous product did not allow users to create their own entries - this is fully integrated with the forums - you can add your own entries and modify them at any time. They are still moderated initially to prevent spam. I am going to be adding new categories to the directory - if your site doesn't fit in right now, please pm me and let me know and submit it anyway - I'll put it into the proper category.

I have added an RSS feed reader to the front page of the site that is currently configured to pull from the official SL blog - I'll probably add a few more sites. One noteworthy feature about it is that if you drill into the feed, it has a button next to each entry that allows you to start a thread easily to discuss the entry. If one already exists, it allows you to easily join in. You can also access the feeds from the calendar section at the bottom of the main forum page as well.

Finally, a couple of minor but useful new things. There is now a My Posts button in the area where it tells you that you have private messages. This lets you quickly see your posts and go to them. Also, the post information for each user now shows how many ads they have on the SLShopper.com classifieds site, with a link to their ads. Further integration with the classifieds will be coming soon as well. If you haven't tried out the site as a user or vendor, be sure to check it out and support other members with items for sale.

I am sure I have overlooked something, but that is it for now. If you are uncertain how to use something, please let me know - I will be adding some info to the site faq soon.
