That scared the hell out of me when I came here this morning.

As usual, thanks for keeping the updates coming. And thanks for keeping the Old Dark Skin still available.

The "go to first unread" button seems to have shrunk; it's hard to find/hit (ok, I need new eyes, but a new button probably is cheaper)

Window size. I rarely maximize my browser or any other application. But still, right now it's about 800 pixels wide which is really wider than I like to set it... that should be ample room for any design. I try to build my own web pages so they work down to 600 pixels wide.

I think most people have screens with a higher resolution now though, and usually the minimum catered for is 800 x 600, however I've been involved in a couple of projects recently where the clients asked for 1024 as minimum, so I think it's increasing.

I squished my window down so it was barely bigger than the 'pinned note' and it still didn't overlap.

I have a 1920x1200 screen. Screen size and window size aren't the same thing... I keep multiple windows visible so I can keep an eye on the status of compiles and other background tasks.

It's obviously a bug in the CSS: if you look at the screen shot I uploaded, the text inside the note is spilling out the bottom of it. It should probably be starting next to the push-pin instead of below it.

Ann: does your user name wrap like mine does? Could you upload a screen shot?

I know screen size and window size aren't the same thing, I just think that it's a bit much to expect every website to behave ok at 600 when most people now have bigger screens and resolution and can view it at the optimum size if they choose. It's your choice to view it at a smaller size, I don't think you can call it a bug if it works at 800 or above. You can't please everyone. Could be your browser as well, it's hard to get any kind of advanced CSS formatting to behave exactly the same across all of them.

Anyway it isn't worth arguing about, I was just trying to be helpful

how do you do that?? I logged in to check it out and now I'm suffering from eyeball burn! Too much like xsl for my taste.

Something odd seems to be happening with the right side of the bar Quick Links, etc. is on when I reduce my window down that far, but the 'note' itself looks fine.

I think you misread what I wrote. I said that *I* write pages to work at 600, not that I expect anyone else to, and my window is already over 800 pixels wide.

You can set it as default via User CP > Edit Options > Miscellaneous Options. Another option is to scroll to the bottom of any page and look for the drop down menu on the left side.

This isn't a big deal, but the piece of the menu bar behind the 'note' breaks for me at a window size of less than 925px with a screen resolution of 1152x864. This attachment is at 920px wide.

I have the same issue with login (and I'm also using a minimum font size). But - if you click the WHITE bit, where it says Username, even though its actually in the password box, it lets you type the username in there, and the tab key lets you put the password in a bit lower down. It's messy but it does actually still function.

This is why I asked if it's based on Drupal. I've noticed that depending on what browser I use, Drupal based websites will do the same thing.
