I can't believe it has already been 6 years since Second Life launched on June 23, 2003. There have been many highs and far too many lows in those six years, but one thing is for certain. We have all been brought together because of Second Life, and for whatever else has happened, Linden Lab did create something incredibly special that still manages to keep so many of us around after all this time and still manages to inspire and entertain.

Happy Birthday, Second Life, and congratulations to Linden Lab.

It's gone though smooth times, rough times, and very rough times.

I've been around three of those years and I am still thankful for the miracle that it is. I'm also thankful for the wonderful people I'd met in there and out here in SLU, and because of that miracle I have this nice IT job that's made me happy the past two years.

Pervs like Ned & Brenda are the real reason I love and stay in SL.

As angry as LL has made me on occasion, SL gave me some of the best friends in the world both online and RL. It's gave me confidence and ability's I never knew I had before. It's gotten me to try new things and travel a little. It's gotten me work in game and rl work.

And one of the best things it's ever given me is the friends and support system here at SLU. You guys teach me new things, keep me updated on current events, make me rethink my own positions on everything from bacon to politics, make me laugh, make me cry, and make my life much fuller.
