Exclamation Forum update this evening - 10 pm
The forums will be closed briefly for an update Friday evening at 10 PM ET (7 PM SL time). I am updating to the latest minor version of vBulletin - no new features, just some security updates and bug fixes. Let me know if you notice any problems after the update - it should only be down for a few minutes.

Connected to your thread about the LL board, why is it You can install a new version of the software, setup a new server, update the board several times over a few months, all by yourself, while LL has sat with their prims up their ass regarding the Official Forum for their product for a year? I don't know much about these things, and I know you're a smart guy, but how fucking hard is it?

The only thing potentially complex about the SL forum update is that it is tied into their account system, so that does make updating it trickier for them. Beyond that, I have no idea what has held them up on updating it. The only other thing would be their forum skin - but it is barely customized, so it would not be hard to redo.

Omg, I was so desperate, I made a couple of posts over at SL forums. Yuck! I feel so unclean now. OK, I'm sorry, I apologize for that. When I said it I forgot there are still a lot of you that still post over at SL forums. I'm so SLU centric that I forgot about the other forums.

I was so overwhelmed with confusion by the lose of SLU, that I completely forgot myself. Besides, it *was* referential to the subject of Trout's post - he was looking for glasses.

I figured, if I didn't let him know my glasses were there, he might never know it.


But the other post I made kissed Cris's butt so hard it left a hickey. That should offset my pimping of my own product somewhat?
