I have added a link at the top of the forums to a new feature - the SL Radio Stations library. These are not specifically SL only radio stations (though some are SL related, like Phreak Radio and RadioRadio), but a list of popular streaming radio stations that can be used with SL. The stations are broken down by genre to make it easy to find streams to use on your land.

Forum members are able to add stations to the list - it is important that you test a station and make sure it works in SL before adding it to the list. SL is not compatible with Windows Media streams, and cannot handle .pls or .m3u files - you need the exact stream URL. If you are uncertain how to get this, send me a private message and I will help add it to the library.

For Windows IE/Firefox users, there is also an embedded stream player so you can listen to most of the streams right in the browser as well (Firefox users will need the Windows Media Player plugin). The library works in other browsers, it just does not play the streams.

Cristiano, I must be blind. But this is my first day on sluniverse.com--I'm new to this forum--I can't find the link to the radio stations--what have I missed?

Purple buttons. Between 'SLshopper' and 'Blogs' it says 'Streams'. That's it.

Cristiano, I upgraded www.SLGuide.com to handle both audio and video. Any interest in combining efforts? I could really use some volunteers to help my keep SLGuide clean!

I guess that means your video links won't include porno

wow i am having a hard time getting the link to dirct me to the radio library - is it suppose to be a list of radio stations or is it just to individual postings of songs?

hey :-( i have a friend online with me and they are not seeing the link you speak of either. we seee the purple tabs and see sl shopper and blog but nothing in between

That post was almost a year ago. Likely the site has been updated since.
