This is a really annoying one. If you use an AO to be able to fit into an avatar (such as tinies, quadrapeds, or colossal avatars), you have to override the prejump. And on locations where flying is disabled, you have to find something to sit on to get out of the "slide".

I thought this could use some attention, since some people might get it but assume its lag on their side. And so far, it only has four votes, and a snide remark from Strife as the first comment.

Strife is actually correct. Though I agree it should be fixed.

I've had this bug since way before H4.

I just assumed it was an AO script problem.

I suppose it's right to point out the bug's age so that the bug squashers wouldn't waste their time combing through Havok4 code. It just seems a lot of reports have a snippy first comment from Alexa, or people who spend more time on the JIRA than they do in SL.

It definitely is a bug, and definitely should be fixed. I just -love- doing fancy moves with that kind of stuff ;P

There was a lovely bug in Havok 1. Jumping, turning on running in mid air, and jumping again immediately on landing gave you an incredible forward boost in the next jump. It was awesome fun, and not really a disturbing bug. Sadly it's gone with H4 :|

Did you try pressing the "down" button to crouch?

I think it's a bug I'm familiar with and it's not restricted to pre-jump. Crouching clears it.

If it's what I think it is, it's a VERY old bug where the avatar gets locked in an illegal state.

Someone saw my comments on that, and IMed me with what they say is a solution:

My solution was to upload a non-looping animation to use as the prejump. Solved getting stuck, though it can create pop-out, depending on the region's current script dilation.

Someone needs to give this JIRA some love. Alexa posted and asked for more info, so I gave some. But I'm the only person watching it now, so will LL even bother coming back to read replies? I don't know. It's now closed. :\
